The 2011-2012 season kicked off Saturday, November 19 at Park City Mountain Resort as First Chairs departed PayDay, First Time and 3 Kings lifts at exactly 9 a.m. MST. Six inches of Utah powder fell Friday night, making an already festive day even more exciting. Even Olympic gold medalist, and Park City native, Ted Ligety had his spot in line when PayDay lift began running
The next week, Canyons Resort opened their mountain to skiers and riders to work off that Thanksgiving turkey on Friday, November 25th. It was another exciting day with lots of enthusiast skiers and riders ready to hit the slopes.
